Scorpio Season: A Moment for Healing and Learning Trust

November’s autumn sky is about healing any wounds we may hold inside when it comes to trust and creating deep, meaningful bonds in relationship or with our closest family and friends. November 3rd, Mars in Scorpio trines Neptune retrograde in Pisces at 29°43’. How can we best show compassion to others when power struggles surface or old wounds arise? The following day, Mars enters Sagittarius, opposing Uranus retrograde in Gemini 0°08’. Liberation comes from thinking outside the box, claiming your own space to pursue personal freedom and adventure. How do we integrate both Scorpio and Sagittarius scenarios?

Venus enters Scorpio on November 6th, 2:39 pm Pacific time, then the planet of love and creativity squares Pluto, 01°31’ Aquarius, on November 7th. There is a push-pull when it comes to passionate connection and then the healing necessary for complete trust. I think of the lyrics of the Grateful Dead song, When Push Comes to Shove, ”Shaking in the bedroom, covers on your head. Are you still in fear of the hand beneath the bed?” Something about our relationships now or our creative expression needs some soul-searching to release any pains from our past that hold us back.

We have a Full Moon at 13°22’ Taurus November 5th at 5:19 am. Calm down by enjoying music, a good meal or the love of those close to us. Creature comforts we share with others bring a soothing remedy. Or seek creative moments that utilizes your talents while reveling in play. Uranus retrograde reenters Taurus November 7th. A good question to ask: what truly brings me peace and pleasure?

On November 9th, Mercury turns retrograde, 06°51’ Sagittarius, 11:01 am. Mars conjuncts Mercury at 06°04’ on the 12th. Reconsider where you benefit from expanding your daily paradigms in viewing the world. Where do you need to open your sense of exploration and take action to be free in sharing your own philosophy on life?

Jupiter stops in the sky November 11th and turns retrograde at 25°09’ Cancer. Though not exact, Jupiter trines Saturn in Pisces the whole month of November. Look to see where roughly 23°-27° of water signs Cancer and Pisces fall in your natal chart. Sun, Mercury and Venus in Scorpio trigger the trine, forming a Grand Trine in water later in the month. Jupiter in Cancer asks us, where do we need self-care and how do we nurture and support others close to us? Saturn suggests making real our visions by being disciplined and by creating boundaries that are compassionate and caring. November 27th, Saturn turns direct at 25°09’ Pisces, 7:51 pm.

Mercury reenters Scorpio November 18th, 7:20 pm, moving retrograde until the planet stations direct in Scorpio at 20°42’ November 29th, 9:38 am. Time to reassess, turn inward and study what psychological shadows inside of us limit us and still need to be processed. What is it we crave when it comes to deep, intimate bonding with another? Or what power plays or manipulation come up when relating to others that may reveal hidden fears, wounds or personal agendas? “Shaking in the garden, the fear within you grows. Here there may be roses, to punch you in the nose…”

New Moon, 28°11’ Scorpio, occurs November 19th, 10:47 pm. Both Sun and Moon conjunct Mercury, trine Saturn and Neptune in Pisces and oppose Uranus in Taurus, all four planets retrograde. Set intentions to bring truth to the table and discuss any secrets or wounds you hold inside. Be honest with others so to clear the slate and restore peace if needed. “Put my arms around you, love you until you cry, wrap you in your sweet perfume and squeeze you until you die…” When push comes to shove, use this Scorpio time to relate passionately with a partner, but avoid the pitfalls of the darker side of Scorpio, such as jealousy or power plays.

Sun enters Sagittarius November 21st at 5:35 pm. Sagittarius season helps to lighten the mood of the last days of the month. With Mars also in Sagittarius now, conversations may heat up if we believe too firmly our opinions. Rather, have a fiery enthusiasm for exploring ideas with others and expand your preconceived notions of things. Happy Thanksgiving!
