Full Moon Gemini 2026

November's Passage Into The Dark: Reflections For Transformation

November opens with Venus retrograde in Libra, 26°03’, forming a flowing trine (120°) to the north node of the Moon in Aquarius November 1st and then a soft sextile to Jupiter in Leo, 24°43’, by the 4th. Also on the 4th, Mercury retrograde conjuncts Sun, 12°10’ Scorpio, creating some misunderstanding and mistrust around the time of the elections. On another note, Mercury and Venus retrograde ask us to reflect upon what we need in a partner and where do we need truth on the table. Some may be wrestling with the past, thinking about what worked and what didn’t in previous relationships. Who makes us feel at ease? We may also be reevaluating our financial situation or creative projects. Best to wait until midmonth on any firm relationship decisions, big purchases or important commitments to projects.

The New Moon in Scorpio, 16°53’, occurs November 8th, 11:02 pm Pacific time, followed by Mars in Leo in a sextile to Venus, Libra 23°08’ on the 9th at 10:47 pm.  Plant a seed within to face any psychological blockages, fears or power struggles you may have when working with others. What really lies beneath the surface? Any issues around trust or, in love relationships, deep intimate bonding? Mars and Venus set the stage for constructive conversations that allow each person to feel “seen.” Think of the lyrics of the beautiful Grateful Dead song, Box of Rain: “What do you want me to do, to do for you to see you through?”

Jupiter, on November 11th, and Mars, on the 14th, both conjunct the south node of the Moon at 25° Leo. On November 15th, the two planets form an exact conjunction at 25°53’ Leo, 10:23 pm. Sun in late Scorpio is within orb (range) of a square to Mars, Jupiter and the nodes of the Moon the week after, triggering possibly upset, power games or mistrust. See where late degrees of fixed signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius) fall in your natal chart. Some seek the “throne,” too much attention or applause, when wanting the light to shine on THEM. Collectively, we are striving toward equity, a level playing field and humanitarian justice with the north node in Aquarius. Big egos need to fall.

“Friday the 13th” this year is potentially passionate and intense, when dark secrets or wounds we hold inside may surface in order to drain what festers. Midmonth, Mercury, 05°02’ Scorpio, appears to stop in the sky to move direct on November 13th, 7:53 am, while in a square to Pluto and Juno (asteroid of ideal committed partnership) in Aquarius. Venus, Libra 22°51’, also stations direct the same day, 4:27 pm. What do you need to feel free, yet also secure? “A box of rain will ease the pain and love will see you through.” This is a good time to “deconstruct” your own painful traps from past hurts and then lovingly negotiate with those around to create a more authentic path. Uranus in Gemini trines (120°) Pluto in Aquarius this fall and early winter, exact on November 29th. This trine supports us in seeing fresh, new ways forward that encourage freedom and innovation.

Spirits lighten and the mood lifts when Sun enters Sagittarius, November 21st, 11:23 pm. The high road of “Sadge” season is to embrace adventure, explore ideas with others and think outside the box, especially when the Sun opposes Uranus in Gemini on the 25th. The Full Moon in Gemini, 02°20’, 6:53 am, November 24th, conjuncts Uranus retrograde 03°43’ Gemini, squares Mars, still in Leo, 29°27’, trines Pluto, Aquarius 03°26’, and sextiles Neptune retrograde 01°42’ Aries. Sudden outbursts may lead to temper tantrums. Or something innovative and revolutionary might also surface. “Believe it if you need it or leave it if you dare.”

Just before Thanksgiving, Mars enters Virgo on the 25th helping us make plans and be industrious. Just be careful to not be overly critical nor “pontificate” too much your opinions. Otherwise, with Venus still in Libra, again forming a sextile with Jupiter in Leo on November 28th, this is a social time for our family gatherings and Thanksgiving revelry. “Such a long, long time to be gone. And a short time to be there!”
